Hi y’all!

We are Scott and Allie (or you can just call us Scallie). We started this blog back when we started looking for our first home in 2012. We became homeowners and are loving it … except maybe that whole grass-mowing bit. Our house had some aesthetic updates needed so we are slowly making our way through the house.

In 2013 we tackled our grandest remodel yet … our kitchen and dining room! Check out “The Kitchen Remodel” tab at the top of the page to get the nitty gritty, or if you just want to skip all that mumbo-jumbo and just see the fabulous before and after pics, click here.

Although we love us some DIY … and consignment shops … and antique stores … and just fixing up anything in general, we also like to have fun (I mean, who doesn’t?!). So, don’t think that this is all hammer and nails ’round here. Nope. We are also homebrewers, runners, scuba divers, hikers, bikers, gardeners, musicians, Christians, travelers, sports lovers and all-around crazy/energetic people (I’m trying to tell you that we like to have a good time!).

In 2015 we added a new sweatshop worker to our home. Quinn Amelia keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh harder than we could ever imagine. She is the perfect blend of both of us and has us completely wrapped around her impossibly cute fingers!
