Repair Request

When I last left off, we had just gone through our home inspection and were trying to figure out what we should ask to have the owners pay to repair. Well, we asked them to pay us a lump sum to fix the following: New attic stairs, extensions on all downspouts, rewire an outlet, fix master shower bathroom leak, install junction box & conduit on water heater, replace leaking garden spiggot.

We had this all quoted out by a construction company and they quoted $600 to fix all of it. We figured that the owners would simply pick a few items off the list and say they will just pay for that. Well, just got word from our realtor that they agreed to pay all of it! That’s so awesome!!

Other than that, we’ve been going through all our clothes today. Supposedly today is National Organization Day so we’re trying to do it some justice. We ended up getting rid of 3 trashbags full of clothes and 1 box equal to about 2 trashbags. So that’s all going to get donated today. We’ll slowly but surely get this place packed up!

Oh and I also found out that the owners found a new house & are waiting on their inspection. So hopefully we’ll be able to move into this house in about a month!
